Today marks the first time I have tried a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Word got around the office that I had never had one so Nicki (the new student) took it upon herself to make a sandwich for me.
Now for those who know me quite well, this will come as no surprise as there are a list of common items that everyone has eaten that I have not. But I figure “What’s the rush? I have my whole life to experience these things!”
That being said, I must say I give the sandwich two thumbs up! At first I thought it was a little strange…a jelly sandwich (for the most part)? No thanks! I bit into it and was overwhelmed by the jelly (which wasn’t that bad) but the beauty was how the peanut butter sneaks up on you saying “Hey buddy! I’m in here too!” and lo and behold, an ultimate combination forms!
A historical moment for the diary of my life. I’m sure my grand kids will be saying “Pappy! I can’t believe you ate your first PB&J sandwich at 31 years old!”

HECK YEAH!!!
– U2 has postponed their tour! No Montreal date for me this summer. I guess my consolation prize is the fact that I get to see Great Big Sea at Bluesfest instead. Rumour has it they have to order 25% more kegs of beer for the event.
– I’m trying to figure out what the ultimate media center would be for me to purchase when we get the new house. I was leaning towards the PS3…Blu-Ray and Media Center capabilities (albeit fairly archaic ones compared to the XBMC), but now I’m leaning towards a separate Blu-Ray player and a Mac Mini to run all things media. Thoughts?
– Is it wrong that I haven’t started to pack yet?
– After seeing that the moose was loose in Orleans the other day , I’m thinking of bringing the Morning Show back. I think ‘The Search for Jethro’ would be a great spin to the show nine years later. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I suggest you look here.
– I’m just not keeping up with blogging any more. I need some way to make it entertaining again.
