Hermit

So last week I’m getting vegetarian sushi with Krista downstairs and out of nowhere, Jen shows up and says hello.  I haven’t seen her in quite some time.  So we chat a bit and then this conversation takes place:

Jen: So I went to Kap last week!
Me: Kap?  What?  Kapuskasing?  Really?  What brought you there?
Jen (with a bewildered look on her face like someone farted): Uh, I went to see Mart?
Me: Who?
Jen: Martin?
Me: Joelle’s cousin Martin?
Jen (still the incredulous look): Yeah!

Then we chatted about going to Kap and all that jazz while I avoided the situation of asking what she was doing visiting Martin for.  In the end, Holly came to rescue after I phoned her and asked if there was something going on between Jen and Martin and she let me know that they’ve been together for quite awhile now.

I have officially lost touch with reality as we know it.
