I think that the Walkerton issue back in 2000 did something to push the water bottle industry.

But here’s something else to think about, local municipalities are imposed stringent guidelines as to the quality of the water that they provide to their residents. There is no equivalent legislation on bottled water…you should have a good look at the ingredients listed on the bottles.
