Review: Sam Roberts at Capital Music Hall

Opening Band

Matt Mays + El Torpedo

Memories

Writing this in 2019, I don’t have a lot of memories from these two concerts other that they cemented my love for the band.  I do recall thinking Matt Mays + El Torpedo rocked hard and so I picked up his first album and it really wasn’t the same.  It wasn’t until I picked up their second album that I realized THIS was the band I had seen in that club!

Review: Holly McNarland at Barrymore’s Music Hall

Writing this in 2019, the only memory I have of this show is that while I didn’t really care for her new album Home is where My Feet Are, I fell in love with it after hearing the live versions of the songs.  That was a real turning point for me…I never dismissed someone’s recorded music until hearing it live after that point.

Review: Wide Mouth Mason and Holly McNarland

Opening:

Dayna Manning

I found a bunch of photos online in 2019 when posting this.  It’s pretty incredible when you stumble upon stuff like this!

Holly McNarland

Wide Mouth Mason – and I’m 90% sure that’s Joe and me in the front row!  Incredible to stumble upon this photos years later.
