I always wondered what my place is to celebrate my parents anniversary. I can’t say that I remember sending gifts or cards all that much…I remember once we were on vacation and I was sitting in the backseat saying “Hey, isn’t today your wedding anniversary?” and they both kind of looked at each other and realized that sometimes vacations allow you to lose track of what day it is (as all vacations should do!). In hindsight, I should have tipped off Dad and he would have impressed Mom with something. Ha ha. Anyhow, the least I can do is send out a warm congrats via the web.
Anyhow, what can I say about my parents? I must admit that they are probably the coolest ones out there, and I’m not saying this because they are my parents. I have many friends who also claim that this statement is true. You’ve always been good to Maureen and I, and to each other, and to everyone who enters your home. I can only assume that when children grow older and start their own families, they look upon their parents to see what they would change in terms of parenting. I’m happy to say that I want to be exactly like the two of you, no changes needed!
Happy Anniversary to the both of you and I hope you didn’t forget it (and if you both did, I hope Dad reads this first so he can rush out and get Mom something.)

I always know that my friends always talk about how fun my parents are and that they don’t mind at all when they’re over (in fact, I think they enjoy it and consider them their extended children, haha) even though I called, Happy Anniversary again, hope it was great!
Hi Ryan. This is Troy’s mom. I was on Troy’s blog and noticed yours. If you don’t mind, wish your parents a happy anniversary from both me and my husband (Webb). Thanks.
