At the LCBO, if you are a fan of the imported beer, you may use those handy dandy 8-pack cardboard holders that you assemble, fill up, and walk out with heaven in your hands. Speaking of heaven, try Innis & Gunn, yum!
Anyhow, a woman at the LCBO (who shall remain nameless solely because I never caught her name) indicated that starting in the new year, these cardboard carriers would not be available as Corporate LCBO has indicated they are ‘cutting into their profits’. At first when she mentioned this, I was wondering if she was giving me the OK to take 50 of them and give them out as Christmas gifts. But then I realized what she really wants us to do.
She suggested writing a comment to LCBO indicating how much we love these little carrying cases of joy. I implore you to write a comment indicating such! Imagine us cutting into the profits of the LCBO. Last time I checked, I have a feeling that they have quite the hefty profit margin!

Or alternatively … They could do like everyone else and change 5 or 10 cents for the cardboard carying cases.
