My new favourite thing about Halloween are those videos that get sent around which are calm, peaceful and provoking until some monster jumps out to scare you at the end of the video. Seriously, after a few years of seeing them out there, we all know what’s coming to get us when we see some girl on a bicycle relaxingly pedaling away. It’s not going to be her falling off the bike or her shirt accidentally falling off, it’s going to be the scariest creature that Hell can muster coming out to SCREAM at you and hopefully, just hopefully, you’ll be somewhere around people and freak the heck out so they can have a good laugh.
The best part of these videos are probably the reactions and I’m sure you can find a bunch of reactions which were secretly (or staged?) filmed for Youtube. I love the ones where the people go over the top and flip backwards on their chair. Awesome.
